Online Card Classes - Clean and Simple 4

Hello!
I am so happy to be taking the newest Online Card Class - Clean and Simple 4.  I have loved all the other Clean and Simple classes, and this one is just as great so far.  Day 1 was all about heat embossing.  Ah - the magic of heat embossing!  There really is something special about watching that powder melt and ending up with that shiny raised surface.  Magic is the only way to describe it.

I loved all the techniques shown in class today, but chose to use Julie's example of creating a ceramic tile.  After running my inchie through the die cut machine with the heart die, I applied pink ink to the heart itself.  I debated about adding another color to the outside of the heart, but in the end decided to leave it white.  Then I clear embossed the whole thing two times to build up that shiny surface and it really does look like a small ceramic tile. (the picture doesn't really do it justice!)

A little splatter and a fun sentiment finish the card.  This was a fun technique, I'm sure I will try it again!  You can still sign up for class if you want to try it too!
Thanks for stopping by!
