Another fun day over at Online Card Classes learning more about masking.
Today I used Jennifer's idea of filling in a big masked space with little images to define the shape. I used a Sizzix die of a flower and some leaves. Then I filled in the flower with random little flower images that are included in a lot of the clear sets. The colors are all HA shadow inks - pale tomato, tide pool and butter bar. I thought it would be fun to have the flower shape filled with flowers and the leaf shapes filled with leaves! The leaf color is SU garden green. The center of the flower was stamped with a SU stamp from an older ornament set. It was the only circle shaped stamp I could find that would fit in the middle.
I was pretty happy with the way it turned out, and it was fun to make!! One more thank you card done! Thanks for checking in again today!
