More Stamp-a-faire

I have another card to share with you from the fun over at PTI's stamp-a-faire!  This time the challenge was a 'pattern' challenge, where the team shared some card sketches or patterns with us and we were to make a card using that pattern.  I loved Betsy's card she shared using her pattern, and I basically CASed it as is.  Here is the pattern I used:

And here is my card:

I used the cover plate - horizontal stripes and added some distress inks in cracked pistachio and mowed lawn.  Then I stamped and die cut the flowers from Bitty Bouquets and tucked them into the stripes.  I used my new HA ombre ink pad in pink to red to get some multi color flowers.  I also used Memento Luxe ink in lilac posies for one of the flowers.   The sentiment is from the same Bitty Bouquets set.  A black and white twine bow finishes it off.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is lovely Laura! Love the overlay you've used on this card. And the inking along the right edge is gorgeous, as are all those lovely flowers. You've used this sketch perfectly. Awesome card. Bev

  2. Laura, this is the partial green inkiness!

  3. Oh, this is gorgeous! I love the partially inked coverplate! Fabulous take on the sketch!

  4. Oh, how beautiful, Laura! I love how you blended your inks on an angle and the blooms are so pretty! You did an amazing job on the sketch!

Thanks for taking the time to comment! It makes my day!
